Dinosaurs and Ghost Towns
G'day from Berlin, Nevada!
Our latest travel took Pippin and I to the Berlin Icthyosaur Park, which is almost in the dead center of Nevada. The park is home to the well preserved Berlin, ghost town. Many well preserved buildings and debris from the mining town are scattered throught the hillside.
Apart from the ghost town, Berlin is also home to the fossilized remains of the prehistoric Ichtyosaur. The darker colored stones are the fossils. Here is a lifesized relief of one of the creatures.
Oh, and we also took our guest Harold along too...
Until next time, happy travels!
