Pyramid Lake

"See the pyramids along the Nile,
Watch the sunset on a tropic isle..."

G'day fellow travelers!

Actually, there was no tropic isle or Nile for that matter, but there were pyramids. Not true pyramids, however, these are actuallys tufa rock formations. These strange monuments can be found at Pyramid Lake.

Also in the area are bubbling hot springs (that's me in front of one, in the picture above), desert bighorn sheep and other strange rock formations. This one looks a bit like George Washington. I think it's the nose...
