Joshua Tree 2007
G'day from the desert!
This update is a little late in coming, as it was May when I visited Joshua Tree National Park, in California. Home to the strange Joshua Tree, it was quite hot and dry in the desert. Joshua Trees are not the only residents of the desert there are at least two palm oasises hidden among the rocks and dry earth. You can see me in front of the 49 Palms Oasis, in the picture above and I also managed to visit the Lost Palms Oasis. And, while the desert is hot and dry, some animals manage to live there, including desert tortises, lizards and roadrunners.
That's all for now. Until next time, Happy Travels!
